Restructuring at Stora Corbehem

Discussions were initiated today between plant management and the Works Council regarding a plan for the restructuring of Stora Corbehem, France, including a possible shutdown of the plant's board mill. Consequently, a reduction of about 180 permanent jobs may be necessary. Stora Corbehem manufactures primarily coated magazine paper (LWC). Board accounts for a minor part of total production. In all, Stora Corbehem has approximately 1,300 employees.
