STORA acquires paper merchant in Poland

Stora Merchant has acquired all of the shares in PN Papier Sp z.o.o. in Poznan, Poland. The company is one of the major paper merchants in the Poznan area, which, after Warsaw, is the leading printing and graphic arts region in Poland. The company is also one of Poland's leading nationwide distributors of labeling paper. PN Papier has annual sales of SEK 70 million, with 20 employees. The company's managing director and former part-owner, Krzysztof Krokowicz, will remain head of the company. The acquisition is part of Stora Merchant's strategy to establish, over the long term, a significant paper wholesaling business in Eastern Europe.
