STORA sells its holding in Classic Papers

STORA has sold its shareholding in the U.K. paper wholesaler, Classic Papers Limited, to the Finnish forest products company, Metsä-Serla. Classic Papers was formed in 1983 and has an annual sales volume of about 20,000 tonnes. In 1996, the company posted revenues of GBP 21 million. STORA held a 22 percent interest in Classic Papers.
