Storskogen acquires DRIVE Demolering Riv Entreprenad
Storskogen has acquired a qualified majority stake in DRIVE Demolering Riv Entreprenad via the subsidiary Trellegräv. DRIVE is an infrastructure company focused on dismantling, demolition and contracting. The company has 15 employees and had a turnover of SEK 31m in 2020.
DRIVE is a specialized demolition company with a focus on complex projects in industry and infrastructure. The company is located in Jönköping and conducts projects in most parts of Sweden. DRIVE is acquired by Trellegräv that has been a part of Storskogen Group since 2019. The acquisition of Drive adds to other companies in the portfolio that offers similar services, such as CS Riv & Håltagning, Tunga Lyft i Sverige and Såg & Betongborrning i Uddevalla.
With the acquisition of DRIVE, Trellegräv's offering is complemented with specific niche expertise. The companies will continue to operate under different brands, but Rickard Thor, CEO of Trellegräv, believes that there are opportunities for synergies both in terms of reaching new business as well as cutting costs.
"We have kept an eye on DRIVE for a long time and are now really proud to finally be able to work under the same organization. We have already started to identify opportunities", says Rickard Thor.
DRIVE was founded 2013 by CEO Veor Åhlander who will continue to lead to company.
“Trellegräv and Storskogen are known as strong players in the market and together I believe that we can grow our local presence and to reach new geographical markets. To maintain our own identity and corporate culture is also important for us”, says Veor Åhlander, CEO of DRIVE.
The company will be part of Storskogen’s Business Area Services within the business vertical Infrastructure, for which Niclas Rundlöf Bolin is responsible.
