SMPP Expands Brand, Accessibility with Social Network Base for Company & CEO

CLINTON, WASHINGTON August 20, 2010 – Strategic Management & Opportunity Corporation (OTC: SMPP) announces today that it has begun implementation of Social Network hubs for the company toward accessibility and market reach, beginning with some of the net’s most popular status and networking sites, Facebook (www.facebook.comSMPPtech), Twitter(www.twitter.com/strategicmpp) and LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com/in/juliennea) giving access to millions of people and thousands of potential customers as it continues development on its flagship product suite and corporate website toward solid brand equity and overall market permeation.

“There are many reasons, some obvious, for setting up social network headquarters; but especially so if you’re a company looking to reach out to other companies,” states SMPP CEO, Julienne Audette. “Strategic is a company servicing small businesses in a very big way. Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, among others, give us a component of reach necessary for our organization. We recognize the power these networks have as a vessel for growing rich business relationships. It also lets us keep interested parties up to date on the development of our Video Sales Platform (VSP) as we progress. ”

Research has proven that social networking sites for business can be very effective as a branding and marketing tool. The regular presence of millions of users gives business owners the opportunity to reach out from behind the corporate walls right into the communities they serve. Many businesses today are implementing pages and sharing or even cross-marketing with other companies via their business page.  As well, companies with a strong social network presence can convey a positive image of any company.

Audette comments, “A presence in social networks makes it possible to receive comments and feedback, thus creating channel of interaction with clients, potential clients and communities therein. Another benefit is an inherent increase in SEO positioning, which in our line of business, can lead to direct profits. Most of all, this is just the beginning in terms of social networking and media; positioning ourselves in a world where we’ll be extremely active as we develop features and applications for clients with a comprehensive, holistic approach to Internet Yellow Pages and small business marketing.”

The company will be creating an active presence on additional social networks and media sites for its own branding purposes, while working to best capture the power of these tools as a part of its tech applications for its Video Sales Platform (VSP). Audette adds, “Our beta team has identified several key functions which could come into profitable play here in terms of small business marketing and CRM and we’re very excited to announce these as they become definitive as viable components to our product suite.”
