Stratsys, in collaboration with risk and cybersecurity company Intil, has completed a joint development project with funding from the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) and Sweden's National Coordination Centre for Research and Innovation in Cybersecurity (NCC-SE). The result is a new feature in the Stratsys platform that strengthens organizational cybersecurity through automation, smart data collection, and integrated risk management – with Intil’s vulnerability analysis now forming a natural part of the solution.

The new functionality enables organizations to take a more proactive approach to cybersecurity. By collecting data from self-assessments, third-party scans, and real-time sources, the platform creates a dynamic and up-to-date risk picture across both internal operations and external partners. This enables more efficient due diligence processes, continuous monitoring, and automated improvement actions.

“We’re building a platform where organizations can act immediately on security challenges – with automated risk assessments and concrete, actionable recommendations,” says Max Kollberg, GRC Lead at Stratsys.

As part of the project, Stratsys has integrated vulnerability scanning from Intil. This adds valuable real-time insight into threat scenarios and enhances the ability to quickly identify weaknesses – both internally and across the supply chain.

Compliance with NIS2 and DORA
The solution supports compliance with key regulations such as NIS2 and DORA by combining multiple data sources – including self-assessments in Stratsys, real-time threat intelligence, and third-party scanning from Intil. This integrated data flow enables an automated process for monitoring, deviation management, and suggested actions, helping organizations to detect and respond to risks more effectively. The result is a more continuous, risk-based, and efficient approach to compliance.

“Being part of a project that puts supply chain security at the center is both important and timely. By integrating our insights into threat and vulnerability data with the Stratsys platform, we enable organizations to turn insight into action – strengthening cybersecurity across both public and private sectors,” says Mina Nadjafi, Co-founder of Intil.

Key Insights from the Project
The project has clearly demonstrated that effective cybersecurity requires both the right technology and a strong security culture. Simplicity and clarity in the solution have been crucial to delivering real value. One of the most important insights is the critical role of the supply chain – an often overlooked area in traditional security work.

The new functionality is now available in the Stratsys platform for both new and existing customers. As a Swedish SaaS solution with data storage located in Sweden, it provides strong support for organizations looking to take control of their cybersecurity work and meet future demands for digital resilience.
