Stratsys helps companies comply with upcoming cybersecurity legislation
The SaaS company Stratsys is now launching an enhanced version of its information security product, giving organizations powerful support in working with NIS2 and the upcoming Swedish Cybersecurity Act. This enables customers to meet the EU’s increasing requirements for information security in a structured and efficient way.
The NIS2 directive, expected to become Swedish law through the Cybersecurity Act in January 2026, means that more organizations will be covered than before, and that management teams will have clearer responsibilities for cybersecurity and compliance.
“We already have many customers in both the public and private sectors working with our product for information security and data protection. With the enhancements we are now launching, we help management teams act proactively rather than reactively,” says David Wahlbeck, CPO at Stratsys.

David continues: “The product is designed to suit both small and large organizations and can be adapted to each organization’s level of maturity. In this way, information security specialists, CISOs, and management teams receive support from strategic to operational levels. Our goal is to help organizations establish a unified structure for information security, strengthening both compliance and long-term improvement efforts.”
The NIS2 directive is expected to become Swedish law through the Cybersecurity Act, which is proposed to enter into force on January 1, 2026. The new law tightens requirements on management responsibility, supply chains, and security measures. The directive covers essential and important entities but also impacts other organizations through increased supply chain requirements.
