NOVESTRA IN STRATEGIC ALLIANCE FOR EUROPEAN INVESTMENTS Novestra today announces a strategic co-operation agreement with Continuum Group Ltd in London focusing on investments in emerging telecom, ASP, broadband and internet infrastructure ventures in the U.K., France, Benelux, Spain, Italy and Germany. Continuum is a newly started investment company managed by two of the leading investment bankers in the telecom sector in London, Jörg Mohaupt from Morgan Stanley and Jean-François Astier from Lehman Brothers. Together they have been executing a number of very successful financing and IPO in recent years, such as Equant, JazzTel, Viatel and COLT. The Burch brothers are among the founding investors in Continuum. They were also among the initial founders of ICG (Internet Capital Group). "Our co-operation with Continuum will allow us to invest in new exciting European companies in a time efficient manner and with the management of Continuum we get access to a wide range of leading European entrepreneurs of different nationalities, " Peter Ekelund, Executive Director at Novestra and who will also join the Continuum Advisory Board says.
