NOVESTRA INCREASES ITS SHAREHOLDING IN FANGLOBE Novestra has increased its shareholding in Fanglobe AB to 15.48% of both votes and capital through the exercise of options and acquisition of shares. At the same time, Fanglobe is implementing a share swap in which shareholders in Fanglobe AB will receive shares in a new parent company, Fanglobe Inc. The formation of the new company is the first step in Fanglobe's international expansion and Novestra will receive the corresponding shares and shareholding in Fanglobe Inc. "Fanglobe's business concept is to act as a portal link that helps artists to manage their fan clubs and assists with individual information and product sales on an exclusive basis. We believe that Fanglobe is uniquely positioned to become a successful Internet concept because the company has built up an idea that gives artists control over their image and their identity and at the same time allows them to share in Fanglobe's revenues from membership subscriptions and merchandising. It is likely that a large share of music distribution will take place via the Internet in the future, and when that happens a company with a close relationship with the artists will be well positioned to utilise the opportunities that this presents," says Novestra's CEO Theodor Dalenson. The site fanglobe.com includes A-Teens, Aqua, Antiloop, Emilia, E-Type, Jessica Folcker, Jennifer Brown, Martin, Markoolio, Petter, Robyn and many more. Novestra is one of the leading venture capital investment firms in the Nordic countries, primarily with a focus on companies providing enabling services to the network economy. Novestra's portfolio of companies includes Bredbandsbolaget, Continuum Group Ltd, Fanglobe Inc, IQUITY Systems, Mobilestop.com, NetSurvey, PowerNet and Qbranch. Novestras shares are traded on the OM Stockholm Exchange New Market.
