NOVESTRA PARTICIPATES IN B2 BREDBAND'S RAISING OF CAPITAL THROUGH ITS PORTFOLIO COMPANY CONTINUUM WHERE NOVESTRA OWNS 11.9% B2 Bredband AB has finalized its private placement bringing the company a total of 2.4 billion SEK in shareholders' equity. Investors include Continuum Group Ltd of which AB Novestra is co-founding investor and owns 11.9%. Novestra's investment in Continuum corresponds to approximately SEK 3.1 per share. Novestra's equity amounted to SEK 19.2 per share as of the year-end closing 2000/2001. In addition to the direct ownership in B2 Bredband and the ownership through Continuum, Novestra also has an option to acquire approximately 1.6 million additional shares from Peter Ekelund in exchange for Novestra shares. The option is valid up until the end of 2002 and is still at an interesting exchange level. "It is positive that Continuum has been able to participate in the capitalization of B2 Bredband and, thanks to its relatively good liquidity, has been able to make an interesting investment in this market situation.
