Radiodetection locates StreamServe Business Communication Platform (Stockholm, Sweden, October 23rd) StreamServe, a leading Business communication software company, today announced that Radiodetection, the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of underground pipe and cable location equipment, has chosen to use its business communication platform. Radiodetection use applications from StreamServe's partner, IFS (XSSE:IFS) as its ERP solution, with the StreamServe platform enabling Radiodetection to improve the effectiveness of communications with its customers, suppliers and carriers throughout the UK. Radiodetection will use StreamServe to automatically customize communications based on their destination, and based on the demands on content and distribution technology chosen by the recipient. The StreamServe software solution, which is added as a communication layer to the IFS Application, has been designed to dramatically reduce the processing time for a number of Radiodetection's business communication activities, such as sending out customer statements, whilst also reducing mailing costs and data errors. Radiodetection will also be able to format the layout of its documents to meet any company's requirements without changing the output stream from its IFS Application. Hans Otterling, President of StreamServe, commented: "Radiodetection know that the key to customer satisfaction is to provide their business partners with the information they want, in the format that they want and in the timescale that they want. This is what we do. With an installed base of over 2750 customers we're proving day in and day out that StreamServe's communications platform technology rapidly pays for itself and at the same time greatly enhances customer, supplier and distributor loyalty. Together with our partner, IFS, we'd like to take this opportunity of welcoming Radiodetection to the StreamServe family." Paul Funnell, group IS/IT manager at Radiodetection UK said: "We are delighted to be using a product as comprehensive and forward thinking as StreamServe's, and the partnership with IFS, which is our chosen ERP solution, makes perfect sense. IFS is a great product, and the StreamServe platform provides us with incredibly flexible business communications from our back-end ERP to any external organisation, via numerous systems and methods. We expect the break-even ROI on this product to be within six months and the efficiency and cost saving opportunities will go on and on."
