Studsvik appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Studsvik has appointed Pål Jarness, 48, as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Studsvik Group Executive Management. He will take up his post on January 1, 2014.

From 2008 to 2012 Pål Jarness was Chief Financial Officer of Actic, one of the leading Nordic health club chains with operations in six countries. Before that Pål was Chief Financial Officer at Goodyear Dunlop Nordic and Kraft Foods Nordic and has held different positions in treasury and human resources at Philip Morris.

“Studsvik is in an intensive period of change to increase profitability in the Group. Pål has documented experience in the role of Chief Financial Officer of restructuring international operations, which is important in the current phase of the Group’s development,” comments Michael Mononen, President and CEO of Studsvik AB.

Jerry Ericsson, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Studsvik AB, will leave his post on January 1, 2014 to take up instead an advisory role in the Group, reporting to the CEO.
