Studsvik signs contract in the US Government waste market sector Studsvik has recently secured a contract from a major US construction company valued at USD 0.6 million to demonstrate the ability of the THOR technology to procerss various government owned waste streams. The deomnstration is anticipated to be completed during the second quarter of 2002. "After successful depolyment of Studsvik's patented THOR technology in the US commercial power reactor waste market, it is Studsvik's plan to extend its operations into the general US government waste market sector. This market is estimated to have a total value of over USD 200 billion for waste cleanup operations over the next 20 to 30 years.
