Open e-ID Solutions 2009 – How to create online trust with open source
PrimeKey Solutions, Commfides Norge and Sun Microsystems, together with sponsors Utimaco Safeware, Novacard and SecMaker, organize a two-day conference on electronic Identification (e-ID) and e-Signatures in Oslo on the 4th and 5th of February 2009.
Stockholm, Sweden and Oslo, Norway – January 30, 2009 – PrimeKey Solutions AB, the leading open source Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) company, Commfides Norge AS, a Norwegian supplier of SSL and electronic ID, and Sun Microsystems in Norway, one of the world’s largest IT suppliers, organize a two-day conference on e-ID and e-Signatures and its use within the European Community.
The conference will give attendees insight into the status and use of e-ID and e-Challenges related to digital public services, as well as an overview of implemented solutions in public authorities and private enterprises. Keynote Speaker is Gérard Galler, Policy Officer at the European Commission, who will present the European Commission’s new Action Plan on e-Signatures and e-Identification adopted in November 2008.
The conference offers managers of private enterprises, central and local government managers responsible for data security, technical managers of financial institutions responsible for developing enterprise security policies, PKI designers and technical managers overseeing security, a unique opportunity to get an insight into the latest developments within e-Government, e-Business and Open Solutions.
