Update regarding the application for use of XyloFerm® in animal feed

Taurus Energy has received confirmation that the application for permission to use XyloFerm® as an ingredient in animal feed has been received by the first instance in the approval process, The Associasion of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO). The application will after review by AAFCO be passed on to the US Food and Drug Administration ( FDA) which meets twice annually to decide on this type of matters.

If XyloFerm® is approved as a feed component the strain may also be used by ethanol producers who sell their fermentation residues on for use as feed, which is common practice. This increases the number of potential users.
