SurePayroll CEO Wins Major Illinois Technology Association Award
President & CEO Michael Alter named CityLIGHTS Awards CEO of the Year
GLENVIEW, IL — May 14, 2012 — SurePayroll Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Paychex and the leader in providing online payroll to small businesses nationwide, today announced its President and CEO Michael Alter was named by the Illinois Technology Association as CEO of the Year at the 13th annual CityLIGHTS Awards honoring top performers in technology whose innovation and success drive growth in Illinois.

In February 2011, SurePayroll was acquired by payroll giant Paychex, Inc.

The gala, which sold out attracts more than 800 people from 400 organizations including business owners, investors, legislators and policymakers.
