Cyber London Partners with Code Red to Build its European Presence
Cyber London, (CyLon) the first cyber security accelerator and incubator in Europe, is partnering with Code Red, a specialist global security PR agency network, to build its brand across Europe. The London-based accelerator helps cyber security start-ups to fast track their growth with intensive three month long programmes which furnishes each of the chosen Cohort members with prestigious offices in Hammersmith, whilst offering them mentoring, contacts and skills to equip them to build a world class technology business. In appointing Code Red, the accelerator is hoping to attract applications from the most innovative new security start-ups from around the globe.
London, 24nd February, 2016: Code Red is working with Cyber London on a pro bono basis to support the burgeoning new start-up scene in the UK. éclat’s managing director and founder of the Code Red network, Dianne Canham explains, “For eighteen years now we’ve helped cyber security companies from Silicon Valley, Israel and Eastern Europe to establish their brands in the UK and Europe. It’s great to see the grass roots push to create our own home-grown cyber security industry and that’s why we’ve chosen to help promote the work of Cyber London (CyLon).
The work of the PR network will focus firstly on raising awareness of the activities of Cyber London amongst both potential new start-ups, investors and the wider security industry. As we move forward the aim is to help Cyber London and its executive team to position themselves as the knowledge base and centre of excellence for all things relating to growing a successful cybersecurity business.
According to Kirsten Connell, managing director of Cyber London: “The Code Red team has helped us to develop and implement a clear plan of action to raise our awareness internationally. They’ve even come in and helped to educate our Cohort companies on how to do PR as a start-up company.
