Reversal of Decision by S.B.A - Shareholders' Meeting of AssiDomän postponed After having reversed it's previous decision to reject an application, The Swedish Board of Agriculture today granted the internal transfer of a total of 883,000 hectare of productive forestland in accordance with the Land Transfer Act (Jordförvärvslagen). AssiDomän has enjoyed a constructive dialogue with The Swedish Board of Agriculture and regards the decision very positively. The decision is a precondition for the planned transaction regarding Sveaskog to proceed according to the previously announced structure. The decision by the Swedish Board of Agriculture has been taken on the condition that Sveaskog will be wholly owned by the Government. In order for this solution to be possible, the exchange offer period in the Government's offer needs to be passed before AssiDomän's Shareholders' Meeting. Therefore, the AssiDomän Shareholders' Meeting will be held in June 1999. AssiDomän will provide more detailed information regarding this as soon as possible.
