AssiDomän begins the sale of its cartonboard operations As a result of the ongoing strategic evaluation of AssiDomän' operations, the AssiDomän Board of Directors has made a decision to sell the Cartonboard business unit. The Board has made the assessment that Cartonboard has better prospects of achieving optimum, long-term profitability within a larger business structure outside AssiDomän. Preparations for the sale of AssiDomän Cartonboard will begin immediately. It is expected that the process of finding a new ownership solution for Cartonboard will be completed by the summer of 2000.
