Investments in AssiDomän

Investments in AssiDomän AssiDomän's Board of Directors has approved capital investments at AssiDomän Sepap in the Czech Republic and AssiDomän Belcoat in Belgium. The total investment amounts to EUR 22.2 million (SEK 200 million). The recovery boiler at AssiDomän Sepap will be rebuilt which will improve the reliability and the working environment, and also increase the capacity. The investment amounts to EUR 14.8 million (SEK 133 million). The boiler, which was built 1972-74, has previously caused several stoppages, or reduced the capacity, at the mill. At AssiDomän Belcoat, a company showing good profitability and growth, EUR 7.4 million (SEK 67 million) will be invested in a new extruder to meet the growth of products that require sophisticated extrusion. The new extruder will be operative during the year 2000.
