New Board of Directors for AssiDomän AB At AssiDomän AB's Annual General Meeting to be held on 14 June, Lars-Åke Helgesson, Carl Wilhelm Ros, Gunnel Duveblad and Björn Björnsson will be proposed as new members of the Board of Directors. As previously announced, Bernt Magnusson, chairman of the board at Swedish Match AB and board member at Volvo/Ford and MeritaNordbanken, among other companies, will be proposed as the new chairman of the AssiDomän AB Board. Hans Carlsson and Per Tegnér will be proposed for re-election. The proposals have been made by an informal nomination committee comprising representatives of the company's owners, the Swedish State, Försäkringsbolaget SPP, Fourth National Pension Fund, SEB Fonder and SEB Trygg Liv, who represent around 59% of the voting rights in AssiDomän AB. The Swedish State's share of the total voting rights is 50.24%. Lars-Åke Helgesson has previously been president and CEO of STORA and president of both Garphyttan Industrier AB and Bonnierdata AB. He is chairman of the board and a board member of several Swedish companies and organisations. Carl Wilhelm Ros has worked for the Ericsson Group since 1985 and is currently first vice president. He has previously held senior management positions in ABB Fläkt AB and Alfa-Laval AB. He is a member of the boards at NCC AB, LKAB and VLT AB. Gunnel Duveblad is responsible for IBM's consulting operations in the Nordic countries and is a member of the senior management group for IBM Svenska AB. She is a member of the board at SkandiaBanken. Björn Björnsson runs his own consulting business within financial services. He has previously worked for Lancelot Asset Management AB, the Gota Group and Försäkrings AB Skandia. He was president at both Montagu Fondkommission AB and AB Export-Invest. AssiDomän is one of Europe's leading forest products companies. Production is concentrated on packaging paper, packaging, sawn timber products and timber processing.
