Svedala's Annual General Meeting For 1999 Fiscal Year The Annual General Meeting approved the Board's proposal of a dividend of SEK 6 per share for the 1999 fiscal year, corresponding to an increase of SEK 0.50 compared with the preceding year. Friday, April 14, 2000 was approved as the record date. The dividend will be forwarded by VPC on Wednesday, April 19, 2000. The Annual General Meeting re-elected the following members: Rune Andersson, Gunnar Ekdahl, Christer Gardell, Leif Gustafsson and Bo Lundqvist. Jan-Erik Forsgren, Alf Göransson and Carl-Erik Ridderstråle were elected as new members. Lars-Ove Håkansson, Georg Karnsund and Thomas Oldér declined re-election. The Annual General Meeting granted authorization to the Board extending through to the next Annual General Meeting to decide on new issues of shares, with the right for the Board to deviate from the preferential rights to shareholders. The authorization covers a maximum of 5 percent of the total number of shares outstanding at the time of issue and shall be implemented within given limits on one or several occasions. The Annual General Meeting authorized the Board to decide on the purchase and transfer of own shares, amounting to a maximum of 10 percent of the total number of shares outstanding.
