Svenska Bussglas signs framework agreement with Svealandstrafiken
Svenska Bussglas has signed a framework agreement with Svealandstrafiken AB, which operates public transport in Västmanland and Örebro counties. Svealandstrafiken is owned 50% by Region Västmanland and 50% by Region Örebro county and has a fleet of approximately 325 buses that are 100% fossil-free.
Through the framework agreement, Svenska Bussglas commits to meeting all of Svealandstrafiken's needs for services related to the repair and replacement of buss glass on Svealandstrafiken's bus fleet due to various damage situations. The framework agreement is valid from March 2025 and at the latest until February 2033.
The agreement includes a requirement that the service vehicles used by Svenska Bussglas to deliver the services must be powered by 100% renewable fuel – a requirement that is fully in line with Svenska Bussglas's commitment to sustainable offerings and environmental responsibility.
