Authorities approve Svenska Handelsbanken's acquisition of SPP Svenska Handelsbanken has today received the approval of the Swedish Competition Authority to acquire SPP Livförsäkring AB and SPP Fonder AB. The Swedish financial supervisory authority, Finansinspektionen, has also given its approval and the acquisition will therefore go ahead.
