New appointments at Svenska Handelsbanken

New appointments at Svenska Handelsbanken Lennart Francke, Executive Vice President and Head of the Central Credit Department, has been appointed Head of the Central Control and Accounting Department as from 1 January 2001. He succeeds Sven Grevelius, Executive Vice President, who until his retirement in May 2002, will work on special assigments reporting directly to the President and Group Chief Executive. Björn Börjesson has been appointed new Head of the Central Credit Department starting on 1 January 2001. He is currently Executive Vice President and Head of the Regional Bank Southern Sweden.
