New Chief Executive of Stadshypotek and Handelsbanken Hypotek At an extraordinary shareholders' meeting of Stadshypotek AB (publ) today Claes Norlén was elected as member of the Board for the period until the next Annual General Meeting in 2002. The Board of Stadshypotek has today appointed Claes Norlén as Chief Executive of the company as from 1 September 2001 on which date the present Chief Executive Michael Zell leaves Stadshypotek to take up the position as Executive Vice President and Head of Regional Bank Central Sweden at Handelsbanken. Michael Zell will continue to be a member of the Board of Stadshypotek. The Board of Handelsbanken Hypotek has today appointed Claes Norlén as Chief Executive of the company as from 1 September 2001 on which date the present Chief Executive Michael Zell leaves Handelsbanken Hypotek as previously mentioned. Michael Zell will continue to be a member of the Board of Handelsbanken Hypotek. Claes Norlén is currently Vice President at Handelsbanken and Regional Area Manager at Regional Bank Central Sweden. He has worked for the Bank since 1978.
