Professor Carl B Hamilton to Stockholm School Of Economics. Jan Häggström new Chief Economist at Handelsbanken. Professor Carl B Hamilton has accepted an offer from the Stockholm School of Economics to become Professor of International Economics. Apart from research and tutoring he will also be a consultant in economics, both in Sweden and internationally. He terminates his position as Chief Economist at Handelsbanken on 30 September. Jan Häggström, currently Head of Economic Research at Handelsbanken, has been appointed Chief Economist while retaining his position as Head of the department for Economic Research.
