Anders Hannevik new MD for Svenska Petroleum Exploration AS
Svenska Petroleum Exploration AS has recruited Anders Hannevik as a MD for Svenska Petroleum Exploration AS. Anders will in addition to his role in Norway have a responsibility for Svenska’s license portfolio in Africa as VP License Management. Anders Hannevik will join us from September 1.
Anders has more than 20 years of experience from the oil and gas business in a wide array of capacities. He started his career as a subsea engineer with Kvaerner. He has held positions within business development at Fortum, PWC and Chevron. Between 2007 and 2012 he advised the Sudanese Government on improving governance in the oil industry as he worked under a contract with the Norwegian Government. 2010 to 2012 he facilitated the negotiations between Sudan and South Sudan on how to share the oil resources following the secession of South Sudan. He is currently with Rystad Energy.
