In addition, Hugo Lavett wins silver at the New York Festivals (NYF) for best narrator for the documentary "Woman Found Dead By Lake Shore". Daniel Öhman and Lotten Collin win bronze for "Killed By Drone" at the NYF in the investigative reportage category.

"It is wonderful that the story about Nora has now received more international recognition. But perhaps it also shows that the issue of vulnerable young people hasn't received sufficient attention and that the need for better care for young people is a global issue", says Daniel Velasco who along with Daniel Öhman and Hugo Lavett is in the USA to receive the prizes.

The documentary "The Girl Who Got Tied Down" has been awarded the international Prix Europa and Prix Bohemia and the Swedish Grand Radio award in the categories Radio Programme of the Year, Reportage of the Year and the Golden Spade. The programme has also been nominated for the Swedish Grand Journalism Prize.

"It gives me great pleasure to congratulate all of our prize winners whose amazing work led to these successes. And naturally as Director General, I'm also very proud. Swedish Radio believes that investigative journalism is enormously important. As a public service broadcaster, we invest significant resources in illuminating and highlighting issues that otherwise would not have been examined, and the fact that our employees are considered to be producing world class material shows once again that we have chosen the right direction", says Swedish Radio's Director General, Cilla Benkö.
