Cecilia Skingsley’s mandate extended a further six years

The General Council of the Riksbank has decided to extend Deputy Governor Cecilia Skingsley’s mandate as an Executive Board member for a further six years as from 22 May 2019. Mrs. Skingsley’s mandate will therefore run until 21 May 2025.

“With her broad skill-set, Cecilia Skingsley has helped to improve the work of the Riksbank within the areas of both monetary policy and financial stability. She has not least been an important driving force regarding the Riksbank’s work on the e-krona. We are therefore very pleased that Cecilia Skingsley has accepted a further mandate period to serve on the Executive Board,” the Chairperson of the General Council Susanne Eberstein and Vice Chairperson Michael Lundholm said.

“I feel honoured that the General Council has shown renewed trust in me and I look forward to continuing to take part in the Riksbank’s work to promote a strong and secure Swedish economy,” Cecilia Skingsley said.
