Martin Flodén’s mandate extended a further six years

The General Council of the Riksbank decided at its meeting on 16 February to extend Deputy Governor Martin Flodén’s mandate as member of the Executive Board for a further six years, with effect from 22 May 2018. Martin Flodén’s mandate will therefore run until 21 May 2024. 

“Martin Flodén has contributed a high level of competence within the financial and macroeconomic fields. He has carried out his work in an excellent manner and complements the other Board members well. We are therefore very happy that Martin has said yes to a further mandate period,” says Chairperson of the General Council Susanne Eberstein and Vice Chairperson Michael Lundholm.

“I am very pleased to have been entrusted with the task of continuing my work on the Riksbank's Executive Board. The Riksbank is facing several important and interesting questions for the future. I look forward to contributing to the work on these,” says Martin Flodén.
