The General Council of the Riksbank has decided to extend Deputy Governor Per Jansson’s mandate as Executive Board member for six years as from 1 January 2022. Per Jansson’s mandate will therefore run until 31 December 2027.

“During his time at the Riksbank, Per Jansson, with his sound knowledge and long experience of monetary policy, has contributed to developing the Riksbank’s work concerning both monetary policy and financial stability. We are therefore very pleased that Per Jansson has accepted a further mandate period to serve on the Executive Board,” Chairperson of the General Council Susanne Eberstein and Vice Chairperson Michael Lundholm said.

“It is a great honour and very pleasing to be entrusted with the task of continuing as a member of the Executive Board for another term. The Riksbank is a fantastic workplace.
