Riksbank Governor did not participate at today's monetary policy meeting

The Governor of the Riksbank, Stefan Ingves, did not participate at today’s monetary policy meeting due to illness. Stefan Ingves is currently in hospital undergoing routine examinations, but his condition is not considered serious. The decision from the monetary policy meeting will be published on 2 July at 9.30 a.m. A press conference on the monetary policy decision will be held, as announced earlier, at 11 a.m. on the same day. Deputy Governor Barbro Wickman-Parak and Anders Vredin, the Head of the Monetary Policy Department, will take part in the press conference.
