The Riksbank to offer fifth loan in US dollars on Thursday 30 April

The Riksbank decided on 19 March to offer loans to banks in US dollars (USD) against collateral. Four auctions have taken place, on 26 March, 2 April, 16 April and 23 April.

The fifth auction is for USD 10 billion with a maturity of 3 months and will be held on Thursday 30 April, starting at 1100 hours.

The framework amount is USD 60 billion up to and including 18 September 2020.

Dollar loans are one of the measures the Riksbank is offering to banks to alleviate the negative effects on the real economy of the coronavirus pandemic.
