Swebus is now launching a ski holiday service to Kungsberget and releasing tickets for its popular winter buses to Sälen departing from Stockholm and Västerås. The express bus company is also starting a joint sales initiative with Fjällexpressen/Strömma buss for journeys to destinations including Idre, Trysil and Lofsdalen.

“We are noticing higher demand for value for money ski trips. Our buses to Sälen, for example, have constantly increased in popularity,” says Swebus press officer Ingvar Ryggesjö. “This is why this skiing season we are increasing our services, including launching Kungsberget as a completely new destination.”

Kungsberget is this year’s new skiing destination in the Swebus network, with departures three days a week, plus packages including travel and a lift pass. Swebus’ popular ski holiday routes from Stockholm and Västerås to Sälen will also be returning this year. A joint sales initiative with Fjällexpressen/Strömma buss means that Swebus customers are now also easily able to find and buy tickets to Idre, Trysil, Lofsdalen, Orsa Grönklitt, Branäs and Ramundberget.

Swebus ski holiday destinations for the 2011/12 season:

Stockholm – Kungsberget
A completely new bus route with departures on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, plus extra departures during Christmas holidays and February half term holidays. Swebus sells bus tickets as well as ski packages including bus tickets and lift passes for SEK 460 for adults.

Stockholm-Västerås-Sälen
Swebus has departures in both directions on Thursdays and Sundays from 22 December until 15 April.

From major cities to Idre, Lofsdalen, Trysil and Sälen
Swebus is the new representative for all the routes run by Fjällexpressen/Strömma buss to Swedish and Norwegian ski resorts. This means that Swebus customers can buy tickets to Branäs, Idre fjäll, Lofsdalen, Orsa Grönklitt, Ramundberget, Sälen and Trysil from Stockholm, Copenhagen/Malmö and Gothenburg. This joint sales initiative also enables customers to find connecting buses within Swebus’ ordinary bus network.
