Swebus is putting on extra buses for the Roskilde Festival
For the ninth year in a row, Swedish express bus company Swebus is the main operator providing transport to the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. This summer festival-goers will be able to choose from several buses a day to Roskilde from Stockholm and Oslo and points in between.
“Last year over 3,000 festival-goers travelled with us to and from Roskilde and we think numbers will be up on that this year,” says Swebus press officer Ingvar Ryggesjö. “There are still tickets available from all the stops and to get the lowest prices, you need to buy your ticket as early as possible. For example, tickets from Stockholm currently cost SEK 599.”
The Roskilde festival campsite opens on 26 June and the festival itself runs from 1 to 4 July. Between 25 and 30 June Swebus will be running daily departures from Stockholm and Oslo to the festival site in Roskilde. Buses home again will depart from Roskilde on 4 and 5 July.
The bus tickets for this summer’s festivals are available from www.swebus.se, phone +46 771-218 218, by mobile phone or directly from Swebus ticket representatives such as Pressbyrån, 7-Eleven and Direkten. Besides Roskilde, Swebus will also be running buses to Peace and Love, Way out West, Arvika, Visfestivalen in Västervik, Putte i Parken, Öyafestivalen, Metaltown, Öland’s Rootfestival, the Uppsala reggae festival, Sonisphere and Pride.
