For the first time ever, the long-distance bus company Swebus is putting on a special bus service to and from the Emmaboda Festival. The buses go right to the festival venue with departures from Stockholm via Norrköping, Linköping and Jönköping.

This year’s Emmaboda Festival is held between 29 and 31 July. The buses depart daily on 27 and 28 July from the City Terminal in Stockholm stopping at Norrköping, Linköping and Jönköping and take festival-goers right to the festival site. On 1 August the buses return via the same itinerary.

“This is the first time ever that we are putting on a special service to and from the Emmaboda Festival. Once again we are expanding our selection of services catering for festival-goers”, says Ingvar Ryggesjö, Press Officer for Swebus. “Taking the coach to music festivals is a popular option. Last year more than 6,000 people made use of our specially arranged festival buses.”

Through connecting services to Stockholm, travellers from the rest of Sweden can also travel in comfort to and from Emmaboda.

Tickets for travel from Stockholm cost from SEK 472 and are available via  www.swebus.se, Tel: 0771-218 218, via mobile phone or directly from Swebus ticket representatives such as Pressbyrån, 7-Eleven and the Direkten chain of shops.
