Station Triangeln was the winner of this year’s Kasper Salin Award, which will be presented by the Swedish Association of Architects. Station Triangeln is one of the rail stations built in connection with the recently completed City Tunnel in Malmö and has been designed by Sweco’s architects together with KHR arkitekter in Denmark.

“The Kasper Salin Award is regarded as the most prestigious architectural prize in Sweden and I am extremely group of our operations and this impressive addition to Malmö that our architects have created,” says Jan Mattsson, President of Sweco Architects.

Station Triangeln is located by the Triangeln shopping centre in Malmö where the new City Tunnel railway tunnel that passes through the city centre has been given an intermediary station. A volume of 37,000 travellers per day makes the station Sweden’s third largest.

The Kasper Salin Award was presented at a gala in Friday evening in Stockholm.
