Sweco appoints new Chief Sustainability Officer

Andreas Gyllenhammar has been appointed new Chief Sustainability Officer. He succeeds Mattias Goldmann who has decided to move abroad for new opportunities outside of the company.

Andreas Gyllenhammar, currently Head of Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability at the Swedish energy company Jämtkraft, will take on the role of Chief Sustainability Officer for Sweco Group and for Sweco Sweden. Andreas Gyllenhammar is returning to Sweco, having previously worked more than ten years for the company. 

“I have always enjoyed working for Sweco, sustainability is truly at the core of Sweco’s business. I am very excited about Sweco’s role and responsibility in transforming society together with the clients. My focus will be on continuing to develop the exciting journey that Sweco is on,” said Andreas Gyllenhammar.

Andreas Gyllenhammar will begin his new position on 1 October 2021.
