SWECO Grøner acquires Norwegian engineering consultancy RIBA Kristiansand

SWECO’s Norwegian subsidiary SWECO Grøner has signed an agreement to acquire Riba Kristiansand, a provider of consulting services such as construction planning and project management.

Riba Kristiansand has 18 employees and is currently owned by staff members. ”Following the acquisition, we will be able to offer a wider range of services to clients in the Kristiansand region,” says Vibecke Hverven, Managing Director of SWECO Grøner. SWECO Grøner is one of Norway’s leading engineering consultancies and has 450 employees. The company provides consulting services in the fields of Energy, Environment & Water Resources, Transportation & Civil Engineering and Building Service Systems. Recently SWECO Grøner acquired the consulting firms of E-CO Tech, Lassen & Bjervig and P.Å Elektro Forum.
