SWECO PIC to acquire FT-Engineering in Finland

SWECO PIC has signed a contract to acquire FT-Engineering in Jyväskylä, Central Finland.

FT-Engineering Oy (FTE) is a company specializing in paper technology engineering and consulting with 37 employees and a turnover of ca 2 million euros. In addition to Jyväskylä, FTE has offices in Varkaus and Anjalankoski in Eastern Finland. These areas are important locations of Finnish forest industry, which comprises FTE’s main customer base. “Acquisition of FTE strengthens our Process Industry Division’s paper technology competence and expands our geographical presence in Central and Eastern Finland”, says Kari Harsunen, Vice President of the Process Industry Division in SWECO PIC.
