SWECO sells holding in AB Ångpanneföreningen

SWECO has today sold its entire holding of 751,700 class B shares in AB Ångpanneföreningen, equal to 12.6 percent of the share capital and 7.8 percent of the votes. The proceeds from the sale after transaction costs amount to SEK 179.1 million. The historical acquisition cost of the shares is SEK 135.5 million. The shares in AB Ångpanneföreningen have been continuously stated at market value in SWECO’s financial statements. In 2005 this had a positive impact on SWECO’s net financial items of SEK 79.8 million, of which SEK 50.4 million was reported in the third quarter of 2005. Net financial items for the first quarter of 2006 will be positively affected in an amount of SEK 2.1 million.
