Sweco has signed a lease with NCC for a new office building in the Ullevi area of central Gothenburg. An inspiring working environment in modern and eco-certified facilities will support growth, knowledge sharing and collaboration between employees and clients.

To provide scope for growth and future expansion, Sweco needs a new office solution for the current number of nearly 600 employees in Gothenburg. In the summer of 2015, Sweco will be moving into 11,000 square metres of space in NCC’s new project Ullevi Park 4 on Skånegatan.

“High demands on the working environment, energy-efficiency and good access to public transport have been key factors when seeking a new office solution. The new facilities have been designed to promote Sweco’s growth and cooperation within the company,” says Åsa Bergman, President of Sweco Sweden.

Sustainability has been a top priority in the choice of new premises. The property has been eco-certified according to the GreenBuilding standard and will attain the Excellent level in the international environmental rating system BREEAM. Among other things, this means that far-reaching consideration has been taken to the indoor environment, ecology, waste management and consumption of energy and water.

“In the new office building, Sweco will have a modern working environment that is adapted for optimal operating efficiency and quality,” says Manne Aronsson, Regional Manager, NCC Property Development.
