In a project to centralise facilities for care of women and children at Skövde Hospital (KSS), Sweco has been chosen to plan and design all electrical systems. The client is Västfastigheter and the contract is worth more than EUR 283,000.

The project covers a total area of approximately 6,000 square meters of new construction and 3,500 square meters of rebuilt area, and Sweco has been commissioned to deliver system documents with an option for construction documents. Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2014 and the entire project is expected to be completed in 2015.

”One year ago Sweco opened a new office in Skövde and with this assignment we will further strengthen our local presence,” says Ann-Louise Lökholm, President of Sweco Systems.

Examples of earlier building service systems assignments in the region include planning and design of electrical systems for Northern and Southern Älvsborg Hospital.
