SWECO wins natural gas order in central Sweden

SWECO has been commissioned by E.ON. to carry out preconstruction planning of an approximately 130 km natural gas pipeline between Nyköping and Västerås.

”Sweden is seeing a lot of activity in the natural gas area. In the past two years we have been awarded contracts worth over 4 million euros,” says Bo Carlsson, Managing Director of SWECO Projektledning. The assignment will begin immediately and will be concluded with a concession application on 31 December 2006. SWECO has taken part in various natural gas projects in southern Sweden since the early 1980s, such as preconstruction and detail planning of the natural gas pipeline from Norrköping to Oxelösund.
