SWECO wins order from Vasakronan

SWECO Projektledning has been chosen to handle Vasakronan’s digital drawing archive in a contract worth over 540,000 Euro.

SWECO Projektledning, the SWECO Group’s project management unit, has been tasked with efficiency optimisation and administration of Vasakronan’s drawing archive with the aid of ”Projektstruktur”, a web-based system for project and enterprise management. The archive contains drawings and documents regarding Vasakronan’s entire property portfolio. The assignment also includes development of routines and simplified work methods for handling of property-related documents. ”Vasakronan has discovered the advantages of Projektstruktur and sees valuable potential for financial savings,” says Bo Carlsson, Managing Director of SWECO Projektledning. Projektstruktur will also be used to facilitate coordination and communication flows in Vasakronan’s project activities. All of Vasakronan’s property and project managers in Sweden will work via the system. Projektstruktur has been developed in-house by SWECO Projektledning. The system was launched six years ago and today has around 7,000 users. Projektstruktur is designed to function as a tool for project coordination, control and communication as well as an administrative support.
