    Sweco acquires Avecon and strengthens its building services offering

    Sweco has signed an agreement to acquire Avecon Ltd, a Finnish engineering consultancy.  With the acquisition, Sweco is further strengthening its offering and presence in the Ostrobothnia region in Finland.“We are happy to welcome Avecon, and its employees, to Sweco. Building services is a growing field in Finland and Ostrobothnia is one of the fastest growing regions. In addition, the region is known as a Nordic leader in energy technology.
