From 28 October, it will be possible to get off the bus from Stockholm at Terminal 5 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. As a second step, the change will also apply to boarding passengers from the beginning of 2026.

More travelers will now also be able to use the new modern security control in Terminal 5 and the new marketplace. At the same time, the old security control and check-in in Terminal 4 will close.

“Stockholm Arlanda is an airport that Sweden can be proud of. We are the most punctual in Europe according to Eurocontrol and our new security control in Terminal 5 has a fast and efficient flow. We have listened to the feedback we received from passengers and are now opening a bus stop at Terminal 5 in two stages. Nothing is more important to Swedavia than our passengers and now we continue to introduce improvements that strengthen the passenger experience at Stockholm Arlanda, with Terminal 5 as the heart of the airport,” says Susanne Norman, COO of Swedavia.

The closure of the security control and check-in in the old Terminal 4 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport is a previously planned consequence of the change in Terminal 5, with a new security control and marketplace.
