Britta Hjorth-Larsen new Chief Compliance Officer

Swedbank has recruited Britta Hjorth-Larsen as its new Chief Compliance Officer. Britta Hjorth-Larsen will take up her position on August 1 at the latest and will become a member of Swedbank’s Group Executive Committee.

Britta Hjorth-Larsen has extensive experience from the banking industry and currently holds a position as Head of Non-Financial Risk at Bank of Ireland Group. Between 1999–2020 Britta Hjorth-Larsen worked in different positions at Nordea.

Swedbank’s current Chief Compliance Officer, Ingrid Harbo, will retire on March 31 which has been previously communicated.

Britta Hjorth-Larsen holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Commercial Law from the Copenhagen Business School. She will take up her position at Swedbank on August 1 at the latest.
