Swedbank opens Kiev affiliate

Swedbank has opened a Representative Office in Kiev. The office offers qualified financial advice to corporate clients in Scandinavia, The Baltics, Russia and Ukraine.

– Ukraine has a population exceeding 47 million and is a very promising market. The growth rate of the economy is very strong and we are experiencing an increasing demand from our customers. The establishment of the Kiev affiliate is therefore a natural step in order to meet the increasing demand and also for local networking, says Jan Lidén, President and CEO of Swedbank.

Tatiana Byrka is heading the new office in Kiev. She was previously head of the Swedish Trade Council in Ukraine and has a very solid experience of the Ukrainian corporate market.
